Online Guest Series: Rumenig Dantas

Over 2021 we will be running a series of online talks featuring special guests; friends and collaborators of Baque de Axé from the UK, Brazil, and beyond.

Our first session was with Rumenig Dantas, a drummer, teacher and friend from Nação do Maracatu Porto Rico, based in Recife, Brazil. He talked about how he came to Maracatu, taught us Cobalaroê — the saudaçoes los Orixás — and finished up with a great Q&A. Obrigado/Obrigada Rumenig 💚❤️
